Author Wasabi Chuang explores her tradition’s ancient beliefs questioning the Spirits in this metaphysical audio-visual journey. The subjects of ghosts, transmutation and reincarnation are faced by a completely personal modern aesthetic, sense of space and movement. The work is a challenge to individual physical and mental boundaries, a meditation on the deepest meaning of our ego in relation with our ancestor and the projection we have of ourself.
Wasabi Chuang is a visual artist, illustrator and photographer from Taiwan. In 2009 she had her first exhibition in Taiwan. In 2011 she was supported by Taiwanese government to attended an international art project in London. In 2013 she studied visual communication at Florence University of Art. Lorenzo Colocci is an Italian composer, flautist and improviser working with new extended techniques and electronics. in 2013 he released his first album “The Ropesh” and in 2014 the Live-Album “Studio Konzert”, booth published by “Neuklang”. In the same year he is composer and musician for the project “I Musei Officine Creative”, published and distributed by RaRa records. Marco Colocci is a sound engineer and an experimental electronic producer from Italy. He starts his approach on sound studying contrabass and music theory at the music Conservatory of Pesaro. developing later a deep interest in electronic music, sound designed and field recording. He produces, records and dissects sounds from natural and synthetic sources, making them interact with complex texture and abstract patterns. In 2012 He released his first ep as Wekesa with the dub step Berlin based label Jop Step Division. He composed soundtracks for art performances and documentaries, collaborating with numerous artists and musicians.
